On the night when Princess Azalea attends her first Yule ball, her mother dies. One of the many mourning rules is that there is to be no dancing. Desperate for a chance to dance, Azalea and her eleven sisters eagerly accept when Keeper, the mysterious occupant of a pavilion at the end of a secret passage, invites them to return each night to dance. Azalea does not realize until much later why Keeper allowed them to dance or just how much he likes to keep things. Azalea must prevent Keeper from escaping his hidden pavilion, but can she? And if he does escape, can she obstruct the evil intentions of this ancient man?
