In A Brush of Darkness by Allison Pang, Abby works for a Faery. When her boss disappears, Abby meets a succubus whose sister has been kidnapped. She is pressured into helping, and discovers that the cases are linked. She discovers new things that make it very hard to trust the people she thought she could. When she starts being questioned about her boss, she knows she must find her, and quickly. She also learns new things about herself and her new developing powers.

Opinion:

I found this book to be very interesting. The setting was very real and I felt that I was a part of the story. The writing style was very powerful and effective. The characters in this book fit the the storyline. The book flowed nicely and was easy to understand. The vocabulary was not too hard and I found it to be age appropriate. I also liked the ending. It completed the book and finished up the story. I would recommend it to others because it is an easy book to get into and very fun to read.
