Revenge of the Geek is a realistic fiction novel. This book is about is about Miranda (the Geek), a girl who attends Geek High. Unfortunately, her boyfriend, Dex, moved away to Maine on a lacrosse scholarship. Luckily she has her best friends, Charlie and Finn. One day she notices a new girl, Nora, who just moved from Boston. In the beginning of Miranda and Noras friendship was great, but then Miranda realizes that Nora is copying everything Miranda does; her long-distance relationship, her friends, her clothes, her passions, everything! Will Miranda ever become her own person again?

Opinion:

I think this book is perfect for people who enjoy reading realistic fiction novel. I think realistic fiction readers might like it because it was believable. I thought this book was a page turner at times and boring at others. The plot was good, but the book went kind of slow. I thought the characters were good, but my favorite was Miranda. She was very realistic. She had realistic dreams and a realistic life. This book was okay in general.
