The Frenzy is a fast-paced romance and fantasy novel. This book is about Liv (Olivia) and her determination to find out exactly what she is and overcome it. When Liv was thirteen, she almost killed her mother. That was the first time she changed. Four years later, Liv has a boyfriend named Corey. It is hard for them to have an interracial relationship. Her best friend, Pace, is gay and pretends to go out with Liv, for the sake of both of them. When Liv changes again, she discovers what she is. Liv realizes that she is putting everyone in danger. Will Liv and Coreys relationship survive? Will Liv truly understand what she is?

Opinion:

My opinion of The Frenzy is that it was the perfect book for fantasy and romance lovers. This book was filled with the real romance of Corey and Liv, with the fantasy of what Liv really is. The plot of this book was good because it had just the right amount of detail and moved along at a good pace. I liked this book because it was fun to read and it was a page turner. There are no number chapters so you don t know how far you have gotten or how far you have left. This book was easy to read and understand. The characters were realistic and I felt like I was right in the middle of it. It is told from Livs point of view, so it makes the scenery all the more real. The reader will appreciate the way the plot plays out and the realism of the characters.
