Anya is also a member of the ghost hunting gang known as the Detroit Area Ghost Researchers and has a job with the Detroit Fire Department. Her friends in the DAGR suspect someone is burning up people, with intent on killing even more. Anya and Sparky, her salamander familar, must stop whoever is reaping the souls of Detroits poor.

Opinion:

Sparks, by Laura Bickle, is a suspensful novel filled with friery ghost intent on power. Well written and captivating from cover to cover, Sparks is a book with good potential. The world of Anya is filled with mystery. It keeps you guessing at what is to come next. Sparks is a book just waiting to burst into flames.
