The plot of the book is how Cassie goes through the deaths of family, having to move in with an aunt she's never heard of before, and dealing with her gift/curse. She has to deal with a lot of different things that happen to her because of her gift/curse. Her gift/curse is that she can see a mark around people that tells her that they are going to die that day. You will be reading through love and mystery.

Opinion:

I liked the book a lot. I thought it had a great plot. I liked how the settings change, but it was a bit hard to "see" the setting. Cassie is a likable character. It was powerful and like nothing I've read before. Most of the vocabulary is good for my age group. There are only 10 or 20 bad words in the book. I believe it's a very moving book. I would and have recommended it to my friends.
