Maggie Fortini is a girl who likes baseball. She is in a Dodger/Yankee house in Dodger neighborhood. She loves her father's old firehouse- it's like her second home. Then the new guy Jim starts working there. He teaches her how to really appreciate baseball. Suddenly, he leaves and soon stops writing. What happened?

Opinion:

I think this book was interesting. I did feel, however, that the book skipped a lot of time. This took away from the book. I loved, though, how the writing spoke to me.
