In Dullsville, summer break is over and Raven is hardly ready to return to school. With break over, there is less time for her sleep-filled days with her vampire boyfriend, Alexander, and more time with annoying pest, Trevor Mitchell. Then, an unexpected letter arrives at Alexander's mansion announcing that his parents are coming to town. Once they arrive, just about everyone has seen his parents, except Raven. When Raven is finally invited to the most important dinner party of her life at Alexander's mansion, she meets the royal, vampire couple, but the next turn of the events could effect her entire relationship with Alexander...forever.

Opinion:

Royal Blood by Ellen Schreiber was a book worth reading. The unusual twist with the romance between Raven and Alexander is mesmerizing. You could feel the emotions pouring out of the book as you read. Alexander was romantic and Raven is a girl that a Goth can look up to. All in all, Royal Blood was an amazing read for anyone who wants a vampire love story without all the gore. The book was different from any other love story because Raven is a mortal and Alexander is immortal but they have an amazing and passionate relationship that isn't based on who or what they are. I recommend this book to any vampire fan.
