After reading this book, I felt complete. I laughed, I cried, I died a little knowing that it's all over. The end of a truly magnificent era has come to a close. I was not disappointed in the least. It easily measures up with all of Rowling's other books. With the twists and turns that keep the reader interested, I couldn't put it down. Simply marvelous.

I thought that this Harry Potter book was my favorite one. Everyone expected so much out of it, and I think it definitely delivered it all to us. It made me happy and sad and every emotion in between. Some parts were a little stretched too long, but overall it was a great book.

The last in the series of harry potter books was incredible. though many theories were made before it came out few only came close. The many plot changes, creativity, thoughtful detail in character, and uncovered secrets and loyalties are what made this final installment of JK Rowling's Harry potter series so amazing! I am surprised at how satisfied I was at the close of reading this book, the ending was really well done, answering all unanswered questions and leaving all of the many fans around the world smiling with satisfaction.

J.K Rowling promised so many things would be explained, and although some of those weren't, what she did write was truly spectacular. As an avid fan, I was delighted with all the twists and turns that this book took. Let it also be noted that as this series grows older, so do Harry and the fans, so the maturity level of this book was very high. This book made me laugh, cry, gasp, and it was the finale of a wonderful era of Harry Potter.

*NO SPOILERS* As a book reviewer I expect a lot from the books I read. Character development, a good plot, descent content, and a satisfactory ending. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows had all this and more.

I have read the books 1-6 many times, so I knew the 7th one was going to be great. But, not in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine it to be an action-packed, dramatic, heart stopping, tear jerking novel. This book rocked!

One of the things that separates Harry Potter from other series is how easy it is to read about fictional characters and relate to them as if they were your good friends.

When I finished HP7 I felt WOWED. And kind of exhausted. And drained of all emotion - I think I used up every kind of emotion in my being while reading that book. I feel awed by J. K. Rowling's achievement in creating a world and characters that feel so real; and her colossal task in writing one beautiful, seven-volumed story of the tale of Harry Potter.

I am still absorbing my thoughts, but I can tell you right now that Harry Potter is the best series I've ever read and I want to cry a little in pure amazement by the whole thing.

What a spectacular finale to a brilliant series.

Overall I liked the book, but I am a little worried about the "dropping out of school is okay" message I got out of it.
