"The BlackBelt Club" by Dawn Barnes starts off with Max Greene, a karate student who isn't good, waking up to go to his Dojo to find out from his sensei why he was put into an elite karate class known as the Blackbelt Club. Upon arrival he meets the three other students who were also chosen to be in the BBC and finds out that he has been chosen to stop the Death Master from destroying the world! The Death Master removed the wheels of power from the almighty tree of life.
