Turkey Trouble on the National Mall has two main characters, KC and Marshal.  Every year, the President spares one turkey from being eaten on Thanksgiving.  KC doesn’t think that that is enough. She and her best friend Marshal try to save more turkeys; does it work?  Read the book and find out!  This book is definitely rated for ages seven through nine.  The author, Ron Roy’s purpose for the book was positively meant for younger readers and those who are reluctant readers.
