The story tells of a poor girl, trying to make everything better for her family with no regard to herself; and a rich boy, who blames himself for the accident in his family, and gets kicked out of his house. He's a street fighter that wants redemption, and she's a professional boxer who's scared of the damage she can cause. They accidently meet and try to help each other. Their pasts aren't good.

West and Haley come from two completely different types of families. But somehow they still manage to become friends.  Take Me On is a very fast paced book. Its about more than just romance. It's has a lot of fighting and conflicts that make it a different from any of the other stories I've read.
