When the lights go out at a science expo, five teens awaken with powers they never ask for and a secret they were never meant to uncover. As they struggle to control their powers, the group discovers the explosion that transformed them wasn’t random. They were part of a carefully planned experiment. One controlled by a hidden organization that’s been watching them all alone. Now with trust fraying and danger closing in, they must uncover the truth before they turn into weapons. Five teens who never, not even in their wildest daydreams, saw themselves as anything close to dangerous. And they certainly never expected to be hunted down by NOVA, a reclusive organization which seems to be hiding a secret. Tensions heighten even further in the group when they discover that their powers play a part in an experiment that seeks to make them into weapons.
