After her younger sister died, Constance Langton has been left to deal with a lot of baggage, especially since her mother cannot get over the sadness of Alma's death to take care of anything. To help her mother, she starts pretends to be her sister in séances that her mother performs. This proves to be too much for her mother to handle and soon after, her mother dies. Constance is then left by herself with a house that is full of bad memories and supernatural occurrences by a relative. She is advised to get rid of the house but is unable to do so.
