Acting Out is a collection of six plays by six award-winning children's authors. Along with the plays, each has its own production notes written by the author. These plays are easy to read, humorous, and have lots of fun and simple acting roles to play. The pieces have a wide range of topics, so everyone is bound to find at least one that they like. All of the stories have great plots, and very believable characters. Some of the authors are: Avi, Sharon Creech, and Richard Peck.

"It's a Money Thing," is a non-fiction book, aimed at girls and young women, to teach them about money management. It teaches how to successfully start a business, put money into a savings account (and the benefits of doing so), and even buy and manage stocks. The book also demonstrates how to figure taxes, cost of living, and even provides job ideas and benefits. This book is a fill-in-the-blank book, and there are many useful activities. For example, you can pick out a job, salary, home, car, and then see how taxes affect the money you have to save or spend.

She Came From Heaven is about an interior designer named Rosanne who is temporarily living alone with her pets in New York City. After a separation, her husband Jim is moving back in after living and working in Washington DC. Jim joins her in their New York house, and starts his own business from home. Life seems to be getting better until Jim's business flounders, and things go terribly wrong. Rosanne's pets become a source of comfort to her during her struggles.

"Posh" centers around a high school girl named Julianne and her circle of friends, and their families. Julianne falls in love with Michael, who has his own struggles with his family and with bipolar disorder. The teens all attend an elite Manhattan private school where money equals status. The students need to decide what or who really matters to them. They all are figuring out how much they will take in the name of love.
