"How They Met and Other Stories" is a collection of short stories. All the stories are related to love and all different kinds of love. Some are sad, but some are also very happy. Each story in the book is different, and the variety ranges throughout the entire book. The age of all the characters differ throughout the story, as well as the orientation of the couple involved. They all explain a situation of love and show the history of the love or how the love played out. The style of each story is as different as the plot. Some are written as poems.

The focal point of the book "Click!" is all about setting and achieving goals. Authors Monaghan and Wolfe believe that if you release good and positive energy, then good and positive things will happen. They write about focusing on your goals and sending out optimistic "e-vites" and getting excellent R.S.V.P.s back.

And she thinks her mother may have had an affair in the past.

The book is a story of a young girl growing up during the Six-Day War in the Middle East. She talks about the trouble her family went through. They sacrificed a lot to keep their family alive and well, even if it meant the separation of the family. Ibtisam Barakat describes how the events effected her life and made her become who she is today. She talks about soldier being stationed outside of her home, about her brothers' and their adventures, and about learning to care for her little sister. Ibtisam Barakat is a gifted writer.
