It's been two years since Armpit's (now preferring his given name, Theodore) release from the juvenile correction facility, Camp Green Lake. Armpit is living a great life; he has a well paying job, he's attending summer school to make up for the schooling he's missed, it appears that his life seems back on track. His greatest obstacle is trying to have a nice reputation when everyone knows you as a "big bully." That's where Ginny, Armpit's ten-year-old neighbor, comes in.

Welkin Quinn was a fourteen year old ensign on the spaceship city 'Colony' until it crashed on planet Earth. There, Welkin, his sister, and some of his other friends were "specially" selected as a team to scout the land. Outside of 'Colony' Welkin and the others discover many things about Earth; the sparse vegetation, desolate landscape, and a devolved race of humans called the Earthborn. The most frightening discovery about Welkin's assignment is the realization that this is one task he isn't supposed to return from.

Tom Tin is a convict. And so are all the other passengers on the boat taking them to Australia where they will be shackled for the rest of thier lives. Tom also has another problem. His own dad is the unwilling captain! As the boat rounds the Cape of Good Hope, Tom and his blinded friend Midgely create an idea formed by their knowlege of 'The Cannibal Islands' that they learned in a book. Hatching a plan to escape with the captain's help, the kid's plans are thrown out of whack when other convicts unleash their own plan to get free.

Elvin Bishop is a somewhat regular fourteen year old kid, although like every kid, he's a bit different. Along with his widowed mother, Elvin shares a pretty average home. He has two friends, each with their own eccentricities: one has a very parental attitude while the other is so self- absorbed he refuses to use a public restroom. Elvin is enjoying his life until it is thrown into a frenzy by the reappearence of his long believed dead uncle. It isn't a welcome reunion for Elvin. His Uncle Alex's return is a poor attempt to apologize for stealing the Bishop's money.

Tom isn't pleased when his mom's recovery from cancer takes him from his home to his grandmother's. Soon memories of Tom's first visit to his gram's begin to surface. What did he see in the basement? What did he hear down there? Now, he thinks he's seeing the raven on the neighboring pub sign move! Is Tom going insane, or are strange things happening? Stranger still is Tom's gradual discovery of "the gap", a portal in time that allows Tom to travel back to the year 1717 where he stumbles into a group of prisoner circus attractions.

Harlan Banana, an 11 year-old boy and his 7 year- old sister Ainsley have divorced parents. What starts as a normal day on the beach for the two, turns into a dangerous quest after they meet a frongle, a hard-working, fairylike creature. At the beach, Ainsley Banana makes a wish upon a dandelion, which then allows the siblings to make another wish. After much consideration, they choose to wish for an also-mom. This woman would keep their lonely dad happy. Unfortunately, this wish is known as a Kazillion Wish and it is unable to be granted without completing some tasks first.
