The Spider, otherwise known as Gin Blanco, is like any other assassin. She gets paid to do jobs involving killing someone. But there's something much more important. Her main goal is to get rid of her number one enemy, Mab, the one who killed her mother and her sister. And now Spider's out for revenge (thus the title).
Western and fantasy combined. Westward Weird is a book made up of 13 stories. Each one is western with elements of science fiction and fantasy. One of the stories is about a robotic-armed cowgirl who saves a town from zombie-like creatures. Another story is about a cowboy's encounter with the devil himself. There's even one about a monster terrorizing a circus.
