Claire Randall/Fraser from the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon encompasses an independent army nurse in WWI. She stumbles upon a circle of stones and travels back in time 200 years to embark on a romantic and eventful adventure. To embark on such a journey would be life-changing, and I would love nothing more than to time travel, make lasting impacts on people from the past and future, and experience a great love story with a Scottish highlander.
