Once you submit your book as a Basic Package, you are making your book available for review by our reviewers. Our reviewers are looking for new books to review and there is a good chance they will choose to ›review your book. When they review your book and their review is posted on LitPick, you will be notified. A LitPick book review (and award) can be displayed by you on your bookseller sales page either as a Customer Review or Editorial Review, book cover, website, social media pages, or other promotional media.
* We will promote your book on our home page slider, in our newsletter, and on our social media pages including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn for one month. This promotion can be extended upon request ($25.00 for each additional month).
** A LitPick Book Brief (LBB) trailer is created for your book and is placed on our YouTube channel as well as posted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogger, LiveJournal, LinkedIn, and other LitPick social media sites. You can also request a copy of your LBB trailer so you can upload it to your website, blog, social media pages, and Amazon.com book page. If accepted by Amazon, these videos are particularly noticeable when placed on your Amazon.com book sales page where they are eye-catching and engaging.

LitPick Basic Package
If you're an author, publisher, or publicist interested in having your book(s) reviewed by LitPick, and you're not concerned with the length of time it will take to obtain a review, you can submit your book for a LitPick Basic Package.
Here's what you get with the Basic Package:
- Book added to our website with your book's cover, description, age level, genre, and a link to Amazon for purchase.
- Book page is linked to an author page where we include: author’s headshot, bio, awards, website, and social media pages. (There is a nominal charge for this book listing and author page to help us with our costs.)
- Once reviewed, these books are eligible to receive a LitPick Five Star or Top Choice Book Award.
Once your book is listed on LitPick, it will be available for reviews by our reviewers. There is no charge for these reviews because our reviewers can choose to review a Basic Package book at any time or not at all.
Basic Review Package books which are awarded 4 or 5 stars by at least one of our reviewers, are eligible to upgrade for the following additional features to help promote their title:
- Posting in our monthly newsletter, on our social media pages in a social media blast
- Feature on the LitPick homepage in a non-rotating premier location for one month
- Permission to use your LitPick review or excerpts of your review on your book, website, and in promotional materials.

LitPick Classic Book Review Package
Are you looking for a review to coincide with your book's release or an upcoming promotion? These packages make sure your book is reviewed within a certain period of time. Obtaining a review also increases your chance of receiving a LitPick Five Star or Top Choice Book Award.
Classic Package
If you want a prompt review of your book by LitPick within 4 - 6 weeks by one of our top student or adult book reviewers and an online promotion, you should request a Classic Package.
Here's what you get with the Classic Package:
- Book and review showcased on the LitPick homepage marquee slider for one month
- Feature in our monthly newsletter
- Personalized graphic post on social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
A bonus feature of this package includes:
A video book trailer called a LitPick Book Brief, which have become very popular on YouTube, Amazon sales pages, and elsewhere, and they can be linked to or embedded on your website.
Publish or Perish Option with a Classic Book Review Package
With a Classic Book Review Package, once your book is reviewed, we will notify you by email and send you a link to your book review on LitPick. Upon reading your review, you then have two options:
Option 1 - (Publish Option) You can choose to have the book review published on our site. If your book is listed on Amazon.com, Goodreads, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble, you can also publish these reviews or excerpts from them under the editorial section on these sites.
Option 2 - (Perish Option) You can ask that the review be removed from LitPick.

eBooks 
Yes, our students and adults will review eBooks! This format is becoming increasingly popular among our student and adult book reviewers.
Some things you should know:
- We prefer to receive eBooks as a pdf file, but we will accept other formats.
- The review books sent to us by authors, publicists, and publishers, whether print or eBooks, will be reviewed a limited number of times by our reviewers.
Please be assured that we explicitly warn our student and adult reviewers about the illegality of piracy.

General information about our review process
Please do not send us review copies before submitting your book or emailing us for instructions.
Standard book reviews as part of our Basic Package - Once we receive information about your book, the book will be posted on an internal online book list. This list of books is available for review by our LitPick book reviewers after they log into LitPick.
Our student and adult book reviewers request books they want to review from this book list, and when your book is chosen by a reviewer, it will promptly be sent to them.
After our reviewer reads and reviews a book and their book review is posted on LitPick, we will email the individual who sent us the review book to inform them that their book has been reviewed and that the review appears on LitPick.
A guaranteed book review is not part of our Basic Package because our reviewers can choose to review a Basic Package book at any time or not at all. Although, like with our other packages, once reviewed these Basic Package books are still eligible to receive a LitPick Five Star or Top Choice Book Award.
