In 2001, during her freshman year in college, Briana Lawrence joined an anime mailing list and met a girl named Jessica Walsh.  They ended up chatting aimlessly and writing fanfiction together until, one day, they realized they weren’t just friends anymore.  In 2002, the two women met in person at an anime convention and have been inseparable ever since.  A long distance relationship of internet chatting gave way to characters, stories and adventures filling thousands of log files.  

 

The crazy idea to turn those logs in to an actual readable novel series during a National Novel Writing Month spree gave birth to the Hunters.  Thanks to Jessica’s knowledge of different cultures and Briana’s Creative Writing background, the two have become an imaginative couple out to produce a series of books unlike any other.
