Michael Mote is the author of The Laketown Loners, a young-adult adventure series. He lives a not-quite-as-adventurous life in the much calmer, but just as beautiful, town of Helena, Montana with his wife, two children, dog and five-hundred magpies, rabbits and squirrels that frequent his neighborhood. Michael enjoys all-things outdoors, reading, playing the guitar, a good sandwich and writing about unusual people and places. Michael is currently working on the next book in this series and a couple other soon-to-be-released stories.
