Named the 2022 MG first place winner of the Kid’s Choice KIDLIT Writing Contest, Gayle C. Krause is a PAL SCBWI member. She served on the Rhyming Revolution’s Best in Rhyme Committee, developing the rubric, and selecting the best national rhyming picture book from 2015-2018. As the Education Academy Chair in an upstate NY Career and Technical center, she taught prospective teachers, and directed the Pre-K Laboratory school attached to her Early Childhood Education program. She holds an editorial certificate and currently teaches writing seminars to kidlit creatives and prospective children’s writers. She writes picture books, middle grade, and young adult novels.
