The Compound by S.A. Bodeen

       When the world is on the brink of a nuclear war Eli’s father built the compound;

A nuclear bomb shelter that has all the luxuries you could ever need. Eli and his family have gotten used to life in the compound. Life has been okay but doing the same dull routine for the past six years has gotten boring. Eli dislikes his father but he never questions him, but when he finds an internet connection to the outside world and is linked up to his “dead” brother; he wonders what the real reason for the compound was. As the days go on, he and his siblings begin to question their fathers sanity. After food shortages and other problems among the compound Eli is willing to risk his chances outside. Eli’s father built the compound for their safety; but was that the only reason?
