Troy A. Carrington

Troy A. Carrington grew up in Baldwinsville, a small town in upstate New York. He attended SUNY College at Brockport, also in New York, where he studied Earth Sciences. It was college where he met the love of his life. They've been together for over 25 years, married for over 21. Troy lives with his beautiful wife and two sons in northern Maryland.

Troy has always been interested in books and has collected boxes of them over the years. Although his first novel, The Hounds of Set, is a Fantasy-Adventure, his favorite books to read are the recognized classics. His favorite book of all time is The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, and has read it almost 12 times. Other titles that grace his collection are All's Quiet on the Western Front, The Red Badge of Courage, The Old Man and the Sea, and even a first edition Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Troy is currently a self-employed federal contractor providing environmental compliance services and enjoys spending his time writing the next National Best Seller.
