Robert D. Dean is a retired father of three and grandfather of five, living in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Vicky. Before retiring, he worked in the Christian Music Industry for more than 40 years, in the fields of marketing, sales, advertising and distribution. He’s written hundreds of radio spots, print ads, product descriptions, sales brochures, and several trade magazine articles. He’s also a certified paralegal. His other two books, Echoes of Andersonville, a Civil War novel for young readers, and Faith & Funnies: Wit and Wisdom from the Porch Swing, a collection of amusing life observations, are both available on Amazon. Reading and history are his favorite hobbies. His passion is historic aircraft, having flown on several vintage WWII airplanes. Currently, he serves as a community group leader at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, and is a longtime volunteer at the historic Franklin Theatre. Who Colored the Leaves? is his first children’s book, the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
