My teenage daughter got me hooked on young adult, urban fantasy books when she placed Twilight in my hands and told me to read it. Together, we are happily devouring as many YA series as we can. While waiting for Richelle Mead's Spirit Bound to be released, I found Vampire Academy fanfiction and fell in love. After reading hundreds of stories, I threw my hat in the ring and wrote 3 stories of my own, which have become pretty popular among the VA fanfic community. I had so much fun writing those stories, that I decided to create my own fantasy world and write my own book. My goal is to write young adult books my daughter would be proud to read.
