Paul Mullins was born in 1972 and is a Staffordshire based writer and life-long supporter of Chasetown FC.
Graduating from Liverpool John Moores in 1994 (he went there to learn how to use computers and to watch Liverpool FC on the Kop) he returned to Staffordshire.
Paul started writing poems (song lyrics without music) while at University and began writing his first story "Amy Pineapple" also in the late-1990s.
After several years of the stories gathering virtual dust on his computer, he started writing a football story called "Jodie Joe" which eventually became "Girls Can't Play Football" and then was re-titled "Leah and the Football Dragons" before its release in early 2004.
Paul works full-time but also acts as press officer, historian and webmaster for Chasetown FC.
With an extensive background in football reporting for the local and national press, Paul has a natural talent for knowing a good story when he sees one.
He has a number of writing projects in progress including finally releasing the trilogy of Amy Pineapple stories and the follow up to "Leah and the Football Dragons."
"Leah and the Football Dragons" is his first published novel.
