LJ Clarkson

Author biography: LJ Clarkson tells everyone she gave up her Environmental Engineering career to study a Creative Writing Degree and pursue her writing dreams. But that's not entirely true. Ten percent of the time she sleeps in. Playing spider solitaire consumes 5% (bad, bad habit). Running Indicated, the ultimate indie author resource for building visibility and exposure, steals another 18.75%. In her remaining waking hours, she writes, laughs at her own jokes, reads and falls asleep whenever her boyfriend reels off geeky computer lingo (zzzzzz). If she were a Mastermind, she’d uninvent early mornings, grammar, broccoli, cleaning and her dog’s fussy eating habits.

What LJ's up to: LJ's heading back to study a Creative Writing Degree majoring in writing for children and teens. She's half way through her new book, Heaven and Hound, about a boy with a fear of dogs who is hired to train and command two hell hounds to track down the missing father of the notorius Lou Seafur. After that she'll tackle Book 2 of the Mastermind Academy Series.

It's a daily battle to trick her little dog into eating vegetables, and these fun, sneaky adventures are the inspiration for some new books for children aged 3-6, titled Delta the Fussy Dog.
