Kendra Ann Thomas has been writing stories since she was in a second grade class for dyslexic learners. After learning to remove the labels of her disability, she went on to become a teacher, counselor, and theatre director. She is the author of Ravenheart, Sorrowheart, Nobleheart, and Absence with Pictures, an award-winning play performed at Verser Theatre. She is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and is currently working on her doctorate at Lamar University. She lives in Raleigh with her cat, Gelato, and her husband, Chris, who is and shall always be her knight in shining armor.
