Joe Starling is a creative and open-minded person who grew up in Hampshire, England but currently lives in Milan, Italy where he is a primary teacher at an international school.
He has a first class honours degree in Primary Education, with a specialism in art, from the University of Winchester. It was in Winchester where Joe's passion for children's books really flourished. 
Joe loves planning and going on adventures. One of his most life-changing trips was his Erasmus exchange experience in Haderslev, Denmark where he lived, studied and taught. It was in Haderslev that Joe truly learned about the emotions living in his own top pocket.
