Jillian Silverleaf is an author with a learning disability and is passionate about people with disabilities of all ranges and ages learning to read. She taught special education with an emphasis on autism and down syndrome, ranging in age from pre-k to adult.
After retiring from teaching, Jillian went back to school and received a Master's degree in acupuncture.
Jillian currently lives in Virginia, USA, with her best friend and partner, LK and their three fur babies, two rescued chihuahuas, Rose and Lily, and a very formal cat who wears a permanent tuxedo.
