Gary Ludlam became fascinated with Carolingian history while studying for his physics degree at Caltech, and throughout a career in physics and engineering, that fascination has never left him. Gary lives in Goose Creek, South Carolina, with his wife, four kids, and two dogs. In between fishing trips, baseball games, field trips, recitals and stage shows, he finds time to write about faith, family, and things medieval.
