LitPick Review
Julia is a seventeen year old girl trying to forget her secrets, her past. But as many know, your past can come back to haunt you. In Julia's case, her past catches up to her and ends up murdering her family and throwing her into the path of a potential boyfriend. Potential, because first she has to get past his guard and his arrogant ways to see the boy she could love. With her new partner, Cayne, she sets out on a cat and mouse game in an attempt to get revenge for the wrongs done to her by the being that is hunting both Cayne and her. Will she live long enough to discover love, or will she end up like her family, dead?
Opinion:
The book moved too fast. With so few pages, you have to make the scenes count and I don't believe that the author did that. I was so excited for this book, but it disappointed me. The transitions in it need work.
