Mickey Price Journey To Oblivion is about a boy named Mickey Price who starts in an Orlando orphanage.  He sneaks out with two friends to go to Dairy Queen.  When he comes back from Dairy Queen, men in gold sunglasses recruit him to help NASA.   Driving to the NASA space camp, they pick up two other recruits, also under 13 years old.  Their mission is secret.  The kids think they are going to space camp. At space camp, they make friends and rivals, and learn their real reason for being there, which is a mission to save the moon.  This is the story of their journey to the moon.

Opinion:

I loved this book and I hope that John P. Stanley will make this into a series.  It was exciting, thrilling, fast-paced and extremely fun.  Mickey Price, the main character, is brave and willing to take risks for others.  Another of the characters is Jonah Jones.  Jonah is basically a know-it-all, extremely smart, and likes to read.  I really liked all the characters.  I would recommend this for ages 8 and up, just because of the long words.  This adventure is for all ages. The author did an awesome job on this book.  I think everyone who reads this will enjoy it.
