Rebecca Harding seems like a normal girl with a normal life. When she meets her new neighbor, Augus, she falls for him. Soon, everything changes. Augus leads Rebecca to discover some things about herself. During all of this, Augus and Rebecca start to feel an attraction to each other. It is so hard for them to hold back from each other. It turns out that Augus is a vampire. He lives on iron tablets, pills that vampires take to activate or boost their powers. Rebecca learns that she is also a vampire. At first she doesn't believe it, but soon accepts it. This brings her closer to Augus. The story takes a twist when Rebecca is kidnapped by some older vampires who plan on making her a female breeder for their community. Will Augus and Rebecca stay together? Read to find out!

Opinion:

The Iron in Blood is a great vampire story which includes romance and lots of physical and emotional conflict. The part I love the most is the romance between Rebecca and Augus. He shows how much he cares for her by staying loyal to her. I love the fact that they use a unique way of giving the vampires power that is different from most vampire books and movies. The main character, Rebecca, is a girl who loves to read and cares about her family, just like me. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy fantasy and romance. Readers may also be interested in the other two books in The Iron Trilogy; The Vampire Gene and Blood Song
