I am a huge Kate DiCamillo fan, so I was excited to see a new book. This story is about a girl named Flora who saves a squirrel, Ulysses, from a vacuum cleaner accident.  The squirrel ends up like the super heroes Flora has read about in the comics.  He has super powers of strength, and he can also fly!  He also develops the power to write poetry which Flora decides to hide from her mother even though ulysses is creating his poems on her typewriter!

This story is filled with funny moments that are sure to make this an enjoyable story for most children.

Opinion:

This book had lots of pictures like a comic strip or graphic novel.  This is great for readers who are around 3-5 grade, especially those that don't like to read regular books.
