Christmas for Hire: A South Coast Christmas follows the story of Piper Wiseman, a dedicated young woman managing her family's event planning business. She was strong and independent woman who was good at what she did and all of South Coast could attest to it. Despite her success in South Coast events, Piper remains steadfast in her commitment to professionalism, leaving little room for personal relationships. As the holiday season began, bringing with it an inflow of demanding events, Piper's focus is tested when she crosses paths with Lee Drummer, a charming presence. Lee challenges Piper's carefully constructed world, igniting a spark of unexpected attraction. He knew the right things to say and do to make a woman smile, but Piper's dedication to perfection seems to be keeping her from embracing this new adventure.

Opinion:

Christmas for Hire: A South Coast Christmas is a heartwarming and engaging romance novel with well-developed characters and a compelling plot. The spark between Piper Wiseman and Lee Drummer is intriguing, with Piper's strong and independent nature contrasting with Lee's charming and alluring personality. Lee Drummer is a particularly interesting character, with qualities that make him irresistible to both Piper and readers too. Being scared of falling in love is quite relatable and the book made me see reasons with Piper for feeling this way, yet had me rooting for Lee secretly because he was able to give her all the assurance she needed. One thing I loved in this book is how they were surrounded with the gift of friendship. Both Piper and Lee had friends who wanted the best for them and were quick to embrace any friend of their friend. The Christmas season setting adds a sense of urgency in the story because any entrepreneur or business owner would understand Piper's point of view and how she has to keep up with deadlines. It also adds a festive and magical feeling to the story, making it a perfect read for the holiday season. This is a book that captured my heart and left me believing in love all over again.
