LitPick Review
Sera lives a pretty normal life. That is, if you count daily nightmares about demons, gods, and goddesses normal. After experiencing a weird heat on her back and shoulders, her world flips upside down and she learns that she is a reincarnation of a very powerful goddess. When she is marked by both realms, hell and heaven, she must decide her path. Along the way she realizes that other people around her might also be reincarnations or demons. Her goddesses are supposed to bring balance but she believes she can only bring chaos to the world. When she learns that both of her best friends are hiding something, she must decide if she can trust either of them on her journey to hell and back. She must protect the mortal world from the demons that are trying to conquer it and unveils her past along the way. She desperately tries to save the world while trying to keep her family and friends safe.
Opinion:
The description of the characters is amazing, it feels like if you look up, they’ll be right there. The setting was pretty good although it could have been a little bit better. If you are thirsty for action, adventure or just something good to read, this would be a great book for you. I like how it actually includes real Hinduism stories but with a twist. The description of what was actually happening seemed so real, you could have been running or fighting with Sara. I would recommend this book to all action, adventure, and romance (there isn't a ton of romance, but it is present) seekers.
