All Callie Woodland wants is a normal life with her little brother, Tyler.  But with the Old Man learning how to control Starters everywhere by accessing the chip in their brain, that isn’t possible.  Callie is the only Starter who can kill while under mind-control, making her valuable to the Old Man and to people everywhere who wish to assassinate without their identities being revealed.  With the Old Man hunting down Callie every minute of the day, will she make it out alive?  Or will the Old Man control her life – and body – forever?

When I’d read the first book in the series, Starters, I didn’t think the series could get any better.  I’m happy to say that I was wrong.  Enders is full of excitement, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and an interesting main protagonist.  I find that Callie’s personality is life-like and true, and that her persistence on keeping Tyler safe is beautifully selfless.

One of the main things that I absolutely love is the jacket of the book.  It is beautifully done with bright bursts of colors that almost seem haunting.

I find it easy to connect with Callie throughout the entire book, and I love how she is always looking out for others.  Lissa Price did an amazing job writing this book, and I will definitely be looking for more of her work to read.

There is one scene where a female character's mind is being controlled and a man forces her to take off her shirt in front of a large group of people. It is quick, but it is obvious what the man intends to do to her.
