During my career as a neurologist, I enrolled patients in more than thirty-five clinical trials, which led to writing and cowriting articles and abstracts that were published in medical journals. When not involved with research, I spent my time solving neurological mysteries. Why did Jane’s legs go numb? What caused Dan to lose his vision? Is Mrs. Rich’s forgetfulness age appropriate or does it extend beyond normal aging? Replacing the stethoscope in my little black bag with a pen has allowed me to continue chasing my passions: Neurology and untangling mysteries.
